Green Lantern Alan Scott Conversion

Any ideas on how to convert Green Lantern Alan Scott's powers into a pathfinder character?

Which version of Alan Scott to be specific? The one who went insane with power and eventually became crippled and the only reason he isn't on a rampage still is because his focus is on ignoring the pain by sheer will and keeps the source of his power subdued? Or the one from the New 52? Or the old version of him who is the original green lantern of earth whose power source is a mystical artifact.

Over all I'd say you could start out with either a sorcerer or wizard maybe if you don't want to step out of core.

i dont know what powers the New 52 Alan Scott has so... how about the old version?

I think a sorcerer with the Haunted Bloodline with possibly a dig in psion(shaper)would make a good Alan Scott, especially looking at Alan as the Kingdom Come version where he goes to the moon and creates a massive moon base that resembled new gods technology. Also give him a cursed item that puts him under the effects of Insanity if he doesn't make so many checks a day or concentrate.

I'd say arcane blooded sorcerer with the arcane bond being a ring and a focus on force spells and spells that create objects objects and matter. Maybe some conjuration as well.

I have actually played a Green Lantern build from level 6 to 16.
I used the Crossblooded Archetype of sorcerer, Picking Arcane and Empyreal bloodlines. Empyreal was a bit of a stretch since it's a Wildblood archetype, but it allows all of his casting power to be based off of Wisdom. The only draw back is one less spell known per level and a -2 penalty on will saves, but with Iron Will as bonus feats it's easy to make up for that. As far as the lack of spells take Experimental Spellcaster and pick up some nice Words of Power to augment your casting. (Especially when you put the WoP Flight spell on your ring instead of the regular Fly spell. Actually having a fly speed of 60 ft is much better than being able to fly 60 ft.)

As far as bloodline powers go, pick the arcane bond first, as a ring of course. And from there you get to pick which powers you take at each level between your bloodlines, as well as your bloodline spells.

For spell selection it's good to focus on conjuration, but i picked mostly trap and slowing spells with a few damaging spells in between. Shadow Weapon lets you conjure a weapon as 1st level. Web is a good trap spell. Of course Magic Missile and Acid Arrow are nice too. As you keep getting higher spell levels you can add on Chains of Perdition and Resilient Sphere (Especially if they aren't a caster and will fit inside the bubble you make.)

I did it mostly all for flavor, and i'm not sure about which other powers you want from this guy, But I feel that this is a fairly solid build.

Completely off topic, but this has me wanting to give a Jedi a Power Ring. lol
