So I'm a fan of Avitar: The Last Air Bender and Legend of Kora, and I was wondering how easy it would be to make elemental benders from those shows in Pathfinder. This question has probably been asked before, but I'm asking now. Would it be easier to make a whole new class or an archetype? Either way, I was thinking it should be based off the monk, since in the shows the style used for each element mimic martial arts styles. Any thoughts on this subject would help.

Qinggong Monk is probably the closest you'll get to my understanding. Just choose appropriate abilities based on which element you bend.
Though if you wanted a powerful bender with more widespread effects - I'd guess a Sorcerer or Oracle would fit.

So you can run a whole campaine of benders!?!?
Where do you live and can I join? (1/2 joking)
Haha! Only one of my players wants to play one. He got the idea when I was talking about the oriental nation of my setting. After giving it some thought, I think it would fit well with my setting. And if you live anywhere close to Huntington, WV then you can join.

I also remember seeing a fan made D20 Avatar, lesse... here. See if it helps.
