Shapeshifter Ranger and Iterative Attacks

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

Quick question guys:
If one of my players is running a Half-Orc Shapeshifter Ranger with the Toothy racial trait and the Aspect Of the Beast (Claws of the Beast) feat, and wants to wield a manufactured weapon in his main hand, what should his full attack look like when he makes a full attack?
For example, say he's level 6. If he has a scimitar in one hand and wants to full attack with his free claw and bite, is his attack (unmodified) +6/+1 (scimitar), +1 (claw), and +1 (bite)? Or does he have to exchange his iterative attacks for his natural attacks?
Can anyone link the rules for this?
Thanks all!

Your 1st is correct. Scimitar +6/+1, Claw +1, Bite +1

Under natural weapons and natural attacks. you lose the natural attacks for the limb(s) wielding the weapons, but can make the others as Secondary Attacks (-5). (only -2 if they take multiattack)

Thats how I understood it. Thank you!

Does that stay the same if the weild the scimitar 2 handed?

Or does he then lose the extra claw. Not sure about the whole "spend a free action to let the sword go with one hand"

RAW you can do your 6/1 then free action to let go and use natural attacks then free action to put your hand back on to use the scimitar 2h for AoOs.

You cannot change how you are wielding weapons in the middle of a full attack iteration, but you can before/after.

The standard question is "can my ranger with claws attack with a scimitar in each hand and then drop his scimitars as a free action during the attack to gain full claw attacks as well?" No, no you can't.

So if you wanted to do a two-handed scimitar strike, you can, but you lose both claw attacks during that full attack action.

You can also attack with scimitar, claw, bite and then (as Skylancer4 says) make an AOO with a two-handed scimitar strike.

And attacking like that is going to lower your total damage output by a LOT, don't do it.

Leave the scimitar in your scabbard and just claw/claw/bite, you'll hit more often and do more damage.
