Non-Charisma Enchantment Specialist wanted

Advice

I'm planning to play a enchantment specialist as my next character that does not use charisma as his spellcasting attribute. I'm slightly allergic to the wizard class and the classic enchanter looks even more dull.

Is there any material out there that covers enchantment specialists that fall under that category? All books or 3rd party stuff is welcome.

Thanks for the help.

I seem to recall that the 3.5 Beguiler uses Intelligence as their spellcasting attribute, and is quite good at Enchantment school spells. I think they were described as born tricksters. You can find this class in Player Handbook II.

Maybe with a sage sorcerer

You use int to cast spells, and with a high int comes a lots of skills. You could max diplomacy, bluff and intimidate and still have 2-3more skill ranks.

The Witch gets a ton of enchantment spells/hexes, and fits very well into the role. And it's Int-based. Of course, depending on your reason for disliking the wizard, you might dislike the witch as well.

You could also be a sorceror with the sage or empyreal bloodlines. There's not really anything enchantment-focused about the bloodlines, but they allow you to swap Cha for either Int or Wis, and then you can always spec for enchanting through spells and feats.

You could also look into the psionic classes by Dreamscarred press. A Telepath makes a very powerful enchanter, even if he doesn't technically use enchantment spells. He's Int-based too.

Sczarni

Witch seems like a good choice.

Thanks so far, I somehow completely forgot the witch and I like the class. Much moe than the wizard so.

The sorcerer archetypes just don't get anything enchantment-related, but I will look into psionics. Enchanters that just need to look at their targets are quite awesome.
