Invisible
Invisible creatures are visually undetectable. An invisible creature gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against sighted opponents, and ignores its opponents' Dexterity bonuses to AC (if any). See the invisibility special ability.
Would a rogue with great invisibility cast on him get to add his sneak attack damage since he/she ignores the opponents dex bonus to AC. Is the the same as being flat footed? If yes can this qualify with ranged weapon as well?

Yes. As listed in Sneak Attack under Rogues they get it any time an opponent is denied their Dex bonus to AC versus the Rogue. Greater Invisibility is one of the most common forms for rogues to do this.

It is not EXACTLY the same as being flat footed.
A rogue under the effects of a Greater Invisibily can sneak attack an opponent who cannot detect them with a ranged weapon from up to 30 feet away. Most of these details are in the Sneak Attack section under Rogues.
