Question about Aspect of the Beast feat

Rules Questions

The rules say that you need the wild shape class feature to pick it, but I assumed that a level 1 druid could take it. Do you have to wait until level 5 (since wild shape kicks in at 4)? Seems like a useless feat if you can't take it until level 5 as a druid.

Even a ranger couldn't take it until level 3, right?

A ranger can take it at level 2 as a combat style feat, as can a catfolk (see ARG)

You don't have a class feature until you actually have it. This applies to everything, including prerequisites.

So yes, if the druid gains wildshape at 4th level and they don't somehow get a feat at 4th level, they'd have to wait until 5th level to select aspect of the beast.

Natural Weapons style rangers can get it at 2nd level with their bonus feats, or if they choose another bonus feat, they can get it at 3rd level.
