Most evil kind of monk archtype?

Advice

I'm trying to make a really evil insane homicidal monk NPC villain styled after Onikage from the Tenchu Stealth Assassin series of video games. What sort of build would be best for him? His race will be a Tiefling (Grimspawn), the ones that look sort of undead? The Hungry Ghost monk sounded sort of cool but unsure on that.

Hungry ghost is very evil, your stealing the life essence of others to fual you own combat prowess. I dont know if thats the kind of evil you want him to be though...

I'm not too familiar with Onikage, but Hungry Ghost fits to a demon-esque theme. In practice, it would let him heal himself as he crits and kills his opponents, which is also pretty evil.
You may look into the moonlight stalker or nightmare fist feat chains to do the whole "darkness" theme.

Evil evil, and yeah possibly offensive:
The grappling monk that rapes people to death is rather evil.

If this is deemed to be a bit too offensive I understand, but I figure it's no worse than incestual raping ogres.

Yeah that's way over the line as far as what I was looking for.

You could also have a grappler be quite cruel in other ways that don't go way over the top. The tetori archetype (from ultimate combat) is very good at getting feats/abilities like Chokehold and Backbreaker for choking opponents and causing ability damage. Tactics of primal brute strength and sheer ruthlessness to kill your enemies in the slowest and most painful ways possible, or leaving them alive to suffer shame as mangled heaps of flesh and angst.

A maneuver master may also be hated by your players from a game perspective if he uses tactics like sunder or disarm (with their great speed a monk could Disarm or Steal and then simply run away or Dimension door away with their prized possessions. I believe the Open-handed monk can get Improved Steal as a bonus feat IIRC.

Martial artists (from Ultimate Combat) are a personal favorite b/c they can be non-lawful and go well with multclassing into barbarian (particularly with the immunity to fatigue at 5th level). Psychotic rages that break through the veneer of civility in a man of discipline can always be used to creepy effect, maybe hinted at by the odd facial twitch when the villain is annoyed but not to the point of going all out? Also, the pain points and exploit weakness abilities could reflect various sundry forbidden tactics, techniques, and tricks.

If he's a sniper, you probably want to go with the zen archer. You also might want to think about taking a level or two in assassin and/or shadowdancer for the assassinate and/or hide in plain sight abilities.

The Iron-Skinned Monk archetype. It's hobgoblin only, but it functions in light armor. It's in the ARG.
