Possibilities for altering Ninja Ki Pool Ability Modifier?

It appears that the quickest way to alter the ability score that a Ninja's Ki Pool keys off of is to take three levels of Monk with the Ki Mystic archetype. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Looks right to me. Is it worth it, though? Lots of other ninja abilities use charisma too.

I would say "yes." The Ninja Tricks that actually key off of Charisma don't terribly impress me (especially in the context of a party), and you would really need to push Charisma to make the DCs good. Wisdom, on the other hand, will help with Perception and the Ninja's poor Will Save. The Monk levels also help with saves and bring a variety of goodies that the Ninja might want, making it a win/win scenario for many builds.

Or take the Drunken Master Monk Archetype and get all the Ki you want, as long as the booze keeps flowing.

Bobson: Like Mort, I'm not that interested/impressed with the other charisma keyed stuff.
Mort: Guess thats what it will be...
Mirrel: Somehow randomly imbibing huge quantities of alcohol doesn't quite flush with my idea of a silent and efficient killer. Definitely the way to go for refilling that ki battery if you can't use/get an item with Ki Leech.
