I'm traveling for Business to Minneapolis in the early July and I was wondering if there are any PFS games run weekly in any FLGS in the downtown area I can drop in on. I usually have a weekly fix up here and I'm not sure I can go a week with out a game :)
If not a game, are there any really great FLGS in the downtown area I should check out while I'm there, I'm always keen on gaming tourism?

I can't get you links right now due to my work's internet filter, but are you familiar with Meetup? Search them for MSP Pathfinders, and you can find local event listings and you can RSVP.
Source Comics and Games runs a PFS game every Sunday afternoon. Fantasy Flight Games Event Center hosts every other Sunday afternoon. Tower Games and Village games have game days on Saturdays.
Sorry for the lack of linkage, but hopefully a little Googling will avail you. :) Also, Ryan Bolduan and Andrew Christian are our local VC and VL (respectively) and they do peruse the boards.

Our bi-monthly meeting at Fantasy Flight Games Event Center in Roseville is taking place on the 15th and 29th of July.
The Source in Falcon Heights (one of the biggest and most renowned game stores in the nation) has a game day every Sunday.
Tower Games in South Minneapolis has a game day every Saturday.
These events are listed on the meetup site, and you can RSVP for them there.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to email me, the Venture-Lieutenant, at vltcAChristian@comcast.net or Ryan Bolduan, our Venture-Captain at vcbolduan@gmail.com

Tower is easy to get to from downtown Minneapolis. There is a bus, the 18, that will drop you off at the front door. There are frequent runs on the weekends as well. The socializing starts at noon with the action commencing at 1.
I will be the event event host for the July 7 wing-ding, so shoot me yer questions if you have any.
Hope to see you there!

Sorry I haven't had a chance to get to this today until now.
Both Sveden and Andrew are correct in pointing out where you should be looking for games. We regularly host on Saturdays and Sundays and by then we may (emphasis on may) have something in the northern suburbs on a weekday.
You can find our complete schedule at:
http://meetup.com/msp-pathfinders
From there you can see what upcoming games we'll be hosting, though Sveden usually is a week or two behind on updating his so if you want to play at Tower Games and nothing is listed, give it a week. ;-)
Also feel free to contact me directly: vcbolduan@gmail.com. I'm here to help!

Awesome thanks for all the posts, it sounds like (and reasonably so) all the action happens on the weekends. I'm only around monday-friday (9th - 13th) but I'll be sure to checkout the shops you mentioned. Any shop boasted as the "best in the country" seems worth a stop, ad thanks for the heads up on Rusty Quarters, that sounds like a good stop.
Geek Tourism... makes my wife is laugh at me now, when I was in San Fran, I went first too the computer history museum, and second to Alcatraz.

Alt-0246 is my favörite.
I'll throw down for a mid-week game as well. Just need one more.

Throwing some dice into the suit case now :)
I'll check back like mid monday, PM if you guys ares till interested and let me know where I have to show up. I'm afraid my PFS character roster is lacking, so I'll have to dust up a new one quick. That shouldn't be an issue, I have a flight ahead of me.

I am terribly sorry - after working late every day this week I haven't had a chance to call up to FFG.
Tower Games closes too early to be of any use (8:00 means not even a 2 hour session). The Source closes a little later, but still won't allow a full-game. Only FFG has space until midnight.
Alas, I cannot make it due to my work schedule and I don't think we've broken four players yet. Sorry Galnörag, unfortunately we didn't get this off the ground early enough.

No worries, I got out to tower last night, it is a nice store, I should have brought my dice as it was D&D encounters, (yes I enjoy many different RPGs :). It's a nice store, that eschews the stereo type of cramped and dank, with playing tables isolated in the back.
Reminds me of the hobby kingdom up near Toronto, stop in if your ever I town.

Argh! I was there last night. I was down in the basement playing some 4E with some of my friends. Darn, would have been nice to meet you. Did you see our PFS flyer on the front door?
