Anyone up to create a monster? - the Thantor - from the Avatar movie?

Homebrew and House Rules

remember it?
he was the big, 6 legged, Panther like creature that tried to eat the hero at the beginning of the movie, and the served him as a horse?

I reckon it will be a great monster to use in D&D.
I'd say it's size Huge,
with special 6 leggs attack (rend?)
and very dangerous (CR 10-15)

anyone up for the challenge, i'd be interested to see your interpretations to how it should look as a monster.

An advanced displacer beast is pretty close. I thought it was in the Bonus Bestiary but I'm having trouble finding it.

displacer beasts weren't reprinted in pathfinder, i have one that i made a cr 16 for pathfinder if you want i can put in in a google doc for you, otherwise there's a thread where someone on the forums makes monsters for people and he's extremely good at it. though just applying the advanced template to the D&D 3.5 displacer beast would probably suit your needs since pathfinder is pretty compatible with 3.5
