Desecrate and it's effects on positive energy

Hi all just a quick question on what would happen if a good cleic was to channel posative energy within the area of effect of a desecrate spell ?
Would there be any effect at all, or would the desecrate spell reduce the power of the posative energy,
any thoughts people

My reading of desacrate is that it does not affect positive energy channeling at all. It only makes resisting negative energy harder and augments undeads within its area.

I see your point but it also say that it fills the area with negative energy and surly posative and negative energy would try to cancel each other out

RAW, there is no effect on positive energy in the area.

Now, if you want to houserule that it DOES work that way, then by all means, go for it. I could see it making sense. However, RAW, it doesn't do anything to positive energy.

Ok thanks guys but I think I will make it a house rule that desecrate does effect both positive and negative energy that is channelled in it's AOE
And of course concrete will have the same effects only in reverse

For a house rule I would suggest that desacrate could grant bonus to saving throws against positive energy making Undeads more resistant to its effects (damage, turn undead) within the affected area.
