Mithral, medium armor and flying creatures

Rules Questions

Ok so my question is: since a flying creature cant fly while wearing medium armor, can it if its wearing mithral armor since it says armors made with mithral count as light for purposes of movement and other limitations. Such as take a giant eagle, could he fly if i put mithral breast plate on it?

I would say yes, for the reasons you quoted.
However it would still take the ACP and all on its skills and attacks since its most likely not proficient with medium armor.

-2 ACP non-proficent aint so bad for the added protection

Now my question becomes: as the armor rules for mithral state, mithral reduces the armor check penalty by 3, making breast plate only -1 to your armor. but it is also listed under masterwork that MW reduces ACP by 1. would that make it a 0 ACP or is the MW ACP included in the 3 reduction in the mithral entry?

no, mithral stuff is already automatically masterwork. the reduction listed is including the MW reduction to ACP.

how bizarre I was looking at chainmail stats, you are correct mithral breastplate only -1ACP

Flying creatures can wear medium and heavy armor while flying. The restriction is against medium and heavy barding for flying mounts which is not the same thing (CRB p162).

Thus: a dragon fly while wearing heavy armor or it can fly while wearing light barding and carrying a rider.

To answer your question: mithral qualfies as one armor type lighter for all respects except proficiency so I would say yes.
