So glad I kicked in at the 75$ level. This is going to be an awesome book.
If you are short of funds I would still show your support and kick in at the level needed for the PDF or just the simple physical copy. 15$ is not that much. And I personally think a physical copy of this book will be worth more than 50$ for a long time to come.

I'm sure that the PDF will be kicking around -- when I read the Kickstarter description, they had planned for it to be a 64-page book with 32 pages for the setting and 32 pages explaining the technology used in the demo.. When they got over each of the funding goals, it became 32 pages of technology and LOTS OF DUNGEONS.
My guess is the LOTS OF DUNGEONS is what drove a lot of the funding (I bought in at $15 to get the PDFs just for those dungeons), and I suspect they'll be editing out the technology preview and reissuing Thornkeep.
It would be silly not to, especially with how much excitement they got in the last 32 hours.

The trouble is they don't want to annoy people who bought into the kick starter project precisely because of the TTRPG perks. I'm a fan of paizo and would probably have chipped in twenty or thirty dollars to lend my support to their efforts, but the reality is PFO is almost certainly not going to be for me.
As such, I paid $70-$80 for a sourcebook and a couple of flip mats. Granted my copy will be signed, but if a stripped down version is offered later (or if the various components are offered at more "usual" prices), it could potentially make someone in my position wish they'd just contributed twenty bucks and waited for the rerelease.
It wouldn't actually upset me, as such (I still got what I wanted at a price I was willing to pay - plus I'm going to get it earlier) but it might give me pause for thought in any further kick starter projects. That's almost certainly something they'll want to avoid.
On the other hand - if they're priced similarly (like forty bucks for the sourcebook and fifteen bucks per flipmat or something) then I'm going to feel like I've got a bargain. No doubt they'll then face a chorus of "gouging" cries, though. :/

Remember, they said it won't be for less than the kickstarter people paid.... so for $50 you got the 96 page book and the PDF(since the PDF was $15, the book was $35...say 30 because $5 goes to the goblin squad stuff).... guessing the PDF will later be $20 (to not undercut the $15 Doners) and the $96 page limited run book will be $40-45 meaning to get the same PDF+book you'd have to pay $60-$65.. instead of $50

The pricing calculations get weird (I dont envy them working through it, to be frank). How much were the flipmat PDFs worth? How much of the $100 payment was for a T-shirt? What about the signatures or the poster? The difficulty stems from the great strength of kickstarter - everyone values the various perks in their own way and settles on a pledge level they like. In my case the signatures are worth something, but the t-shirt and poster are irrelevant and going to be a waste of postage (I'll literally opt-out of receiving those if I can). On the other hand, the flipmats are extremely valuable (but the PDFs are meaningless).
Navigating that issue is bound to upset someone. A pricing which "makes sense" according to the calculus I applied is going to seem like nonsense to someone who was keen to get the poster and PDFs but didnt really care about the signatures and/or the hardcopy of the flipmats.

Nevertheless, those types of calculations are pretty much exactly what we have to do.
In some cases it's easy: if the only difference between one pledge level and the next is a single item, then that's likely to be the value we use for that item. (Note, though, that we won't be offering every single item separately—some of them were exclusive to Kickstarter backers.)
One other thing: while the Kickstarter rewards included worldwide shipping, any items we offer on paizo.com will use our usual shipping process and prices. So even if—purely hypothetically—we decide that since the T-shirt was (initially) the only difference between the $75 and $100 level, that the T-shirt should go for $25... the $100 Kickstarter backer "paid" only $25 for the shirt, while the paizo.com purchaser would have to pay $25 *plus shipping* to get one.
