Magical spells and items questions

Like the tital sais I'm wanting to know some things because I dont know if its herolab chacater builder glich's or is there somthing I'm not understanding for some things to work right, that and a few ideas I want to know if it would work.

1. Does ring of protection +1, shield spell and the sheild of fath spell all stack up? I ask because I try protection +1 with the two spells and it didnt seem to add up but if I get a protection +3 on there it adds only one plus to it. Does these 3 stack or is it a glich in the character builder? Also dose the ring of protection do both Armor AC and Touch AC or just Armor AC?

2. Does the shield spell do both Armor AC and Touch AC? I was told it does but when I put it in the character builder it only dose Armor AC.

3. Could you use a spell from a wand and put it on a item of storing, such as a ring of spell storing?

4. I am a 6 level fighter and some one said I should try useing wands for 2 spells I have in mind, would it be worth a fighter to have points in use magical device skill (I have 6 points on there so far) or would it be a wast of points and skill?

1. Ring of Protection and Shield of Faith do not stack. They are both Deflection bonuses. The Shield spell stacks with them both because it provides a shield AC bonus.
It is not a glitch. A Ring of Protection +1 gives a +1 deflection bonus. Shield of Faith starts at a +2 deflection bonus. Only the higher bonus counts.

2. Shield Spell does only Armor AC not touch AC. BUT, since it is a force effect it applies to incorporeal creatures touch attacks (a special exception).

3. Yes (I think). You are basically casting the spell from wand into the ring of spell storing.

4. Yes. Wands are an excellent way for fighters and other types to gain access to spells that are normally personal spells only (such as the Shield spell). However, I would suggest you take a trait (such as Dangerously Curious) that lets you use UMD as a class skill (+3class bonus, +1trait bonus = +4 total bonus).
