9th Level Monk's Ki Strike vs. DR 10 / Adamantine

Just like it says in the title: would a 9th level monk's ki strike allow him to overcome DR 10/Adamantine?

What if he had magic gauntlets? (+2)

It will only work if he has a +4 Amulet of Might Fists.

a 16th level monk could by pass the adamantine as long as they have Ki left over:
