Range for Iron Bands of Binding?

Am I missing something? How far can the Iron Bands of Binding be thrown (or what are its range increments)?

Most thrown items have a range increment of 10' (I think)

Reading the Item I would say that they can be thrown as far as you could throw a 3 inch Rusty iron ball... or seeing as they are a wondrous item and require a ranged touch attack the range could be the same as the spell used in their creation (Grasping Hand)
