I was talking with my DM and we got into a debate on if my Synthesist could benefit from augment summoning feat. He says since its not a full independent summoning that it doesnt count, but i think that since STR, DEX, and CON are all based on my fused Eidolon attributes. Since it still says I summon the EIdolon to fuse with me i think that augment summoning should work as normal for the stats i get from my Eidolon. What does the community think?

Each creature you conjure with any summon spell gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength and Constitution for the duration of the spell that summoned it.
No. Augment Summoning doesn't work that way. Similarly, doesn't work for regular summoners. Summoning an eidolon isn't a spell so much as a class ability.
On the other hand, Feel free to benefit from Augment Summoning if you use the Summon Eidolon spell.
edit: Ninja'd by a mile.

There is a feat (I do not remember what it is called of hand) that gives you a bonus for the first ten minutes after the ritual where you call your eidelon. You are going to have to stick to evolutions, belts and leveling to increase your stats. It is not hard. At tenth level I have had a 30 Str with with a synthasist in Eidelon form.

Its called Summoner's Call... but it should be noted that the bonus is an enhancement bonus... so it is not nearly as good for a synthesist as it is for a normal summoner.

I really dont think summon eidolon spell affects a synthesis.
The Synthesist has an Eidolon, but it works differently than a normal Summoner's Eidolon. It is still summoned in the normal ritual (which lasts until it is killed/dismissed etc) and you can still use the Summon Eidolon spell in lieu of the ritual to bring the Eidolon-suit out temporarily, which works like any other summon spell and is affected by Augment Summoning.

My theoretical Synthesist character has Augment Summoning, and uses the Summon Eidolon spell when he needs to buff up a bit more than usual. It works akin to Bull's Strength and such.
Exactly.
Also very good if you get caught with your pants down (i.e. get attacked when you don't have it summoned)

So the summon Eidolon ability doesn't count for Augment summoning because its a ritual and not a spell?
Edit: Is there a feat similar to Augment summoning that does effect my Eidolon enhanced form?
Yes... it's called Extra Evolution which adds to your pool. That's the only non-third party option I can think of.
