When you have free time between your many IRL and PbP Pathfinder Games and you don't begin working until the end of June (coincidentally that job will also be asking you to play both D&D and LARPing) you get the urge to try out new things with Pathfinder Design.
Coincidentally, I like the Google Doc share and collaborate idea and was wondering if anyone was interested in trying to write a free adventure using Google Doc as a base.
I'd like to find a few people interested in pooling ideas and writing a fun adventure.
Of course, I'd need people with:
- Good writing skills as well as a large vocabulary. We still want this to look nice and pretty for the people.
- Rules Knowledge and have experience in creating stat blocks for monsters and NPCs. This can be learned as well, but it'd be nice to already have this.
- The time and patience to contribute. At your own pace of course.
- Working in a group and sharing ideas.
I will leave this in the Recruitment thread though it is technically not an Online Campaign as I don't know where else to post this.
If you wish to apply, please write a brief paragraph, not very long, about your Pathfinder or Gaming experience in general.

Interesting idea.Is the recruitment opened to people whose mother language is not English?
I'm italian, i know the grammar pretty well and have a decent vocabulary i think, plus i like writing adventures.
I started playing in 1986 with the "red box" editon of basic D&D.Have played/GMed D&D both basic and advanced since then.Among my other games played/GMed are Marvel Superheroes,GURPS,Cyberpunk 2020,Star Wars (West End Games and D20 editions), Robotech,Palladium,RIFTS and many minor ones.
When 3 and 3,5 ed. came out i went back to D&D and to the new version of D20.
Started Pathfinder almost as it was published in Italy about 2 years ago, but with the increasing of age and work gaming IRL has become more and more scarse, and actually am only playing it PbP.
Edit:forgot to specify my rules-fu and monster bulding skills.I never use software like Herolab (but can do so if necessary),but i admit i tend to use pre-generated NPCs/monsters,but know how to build my own.

As I go off work for two months in the summer, I wouldn't mind trying something like this.
I've been playing since 1998, mostly Mystara setting until switching over to Golarion a few years back. I have played mostly pbp games the past few years, and have GM'd several, including three currently running on these boards. I like to think my writing is decent (at least, Neil Spicer says it is each year they've rejected my wondrous item at Superstar time), and have fairly solid rules-fu. My monster stat block design is a bit weak, mostly because I tend to use existing monsters in different ways rather than inventing new ones, but I'm pretty good at NPC generation, having made many characters without benefit of Herolab or other such program.
I shall herein spoiler my gmail address for such an endeavor, should you wish it.

No, English doesn't have to be mother tongue. In fact, minor grammar and writing errors can always be corrected by myself.
You also seem to be a fine veteran and I'm sure there's tons of ideas and imagination in that head of yours.

Also sounds great. I never, ever use HeroLab myself, preferring the good old step-by-step workings of good old pen and paper or computer typing. Also, I see that you also have been rejected for Wondrous Items. Of course, I only submitted this year but I plan on continuing. As for monster stat blocks, I can do those if ever.
As long as your head has imagination and great story ideas we should be fine. I'll email you the link to the document.
@Gandal, you can send me your email if you want at snapdragonfireworks@gmail.com

Ahhh, a good idea, I must admit. Now, this is an interesting subject, you may have seen my other thread I recently put up, maybe not, but, I am looking to develop the idea. The idea is for a futuristic pathfinder era, but I'm getting away from myself (or your prompt, for that matter). I have been playing pathfinder for about 3 years, and it is one of my favorite RPG systems I have yet to come by. I have before played the dreaded 4.0, and 3.5, 3.0, and of course 2.0. I have made a couple monsters before, with some of my homebrew campaigns. Which brings me to another subject, my Monty Python themed campaign. The players had to collect shrubberies, kill black knights, and all the such, it was a lot of fun.
I also created a solo campaign themed like a Zelda game, and the such.
I am tentatively raising my hand at this, think about it....
Oh, hi Matt, didn't even notice it was you...
Tanishehe@gmail.com is the email I will use.

I'd be willing to throw my hat in the ring, as I want to start cutting my teeth on game design collaboration.
Been gaming since 1980, slipped behind the DM screen in 1982. I've written a lot of original material for my game over the years. I've also got experience in layout, editing, and publishing (though outside the gaming industry.)

I am not a bad writer, just not a great one. I am good with the mechanics of the game though.
I have been gaming on and off for about 12 years. I have played Rifts, D&D, PF, Mutants and Mastermind, SW Saga, Shadowrun, and a few others that I can't remember. I used to get to play, now I mostly get to GM so I see things from both sides of the table.

You seem to have got quite a good amount of experience behind you. I'll add you to our google doc thread as soon as you can PM me an email address to send the link.

I'm a fair hand at writing but another good mechanics meister would be appreciated. You may PM me an email so I can add you to the google doc.

I see that you've stopped recruitment for the moment; I would merely like to express my interest in collaborating with you on this project if you find yourself in need of additional minds.
A few people have joined but still haven't checked in. If they don't by tonight I'll add you in.
