Is there a Risk-like board game using Golarion as the map?

...using this map of Golarion as the board?

No (or at least not that I'm aware of - you never know what people get up to).

Lantern Lodge

No, but now I think there should be. Get Risk, get the map, edit a few rules, and voila!

Silver Crusade

I support a Golarion board game.

I know Risk would be easy to convert to it, but it's really not that good of a game. I'd rather have something new or more balanced.

Risk 2210 is pretty good. Much quicker and with more options than the older game.

Grand Lodge

If you borrow the pieces from Risk it wouldn't be hard at all to play using the Inner Sea poster map from the Inner Sea World Guide. That is if you have a big enough table...

Just the other day, I was looking at my homebrew campaign setting, thinking, "This would make a better setting for Risk than it would for Pathfinder..."

Accordingly, I support all of these Golarion Risk ambitions. :)

Fairly sure there is one in the war room of House Thrune.

FYI if you're interested in single player war/strategy computer games and you've played Civilization, you'll want to check out Civilization 4's mod, Fall from Heaven 2. It's like Civilization but in a fantasy world. I've spent countless hours on that! And the lead designer is now working on a commercial release that has the same basic concept.

I'd love a Golarion board game. Or computer turn-based strategy... Uh, how was that Battle Of Wesnoth editor working?

If not Risk, at least something similar to Axis & Allies would be intriguing.

I removed the link in the first post. Do not redistribute paizo's cartography.

You can find the map as part of this blog post.

I encourage you to make one. You've already done the hard part, which is come up with the cool idea.

I actually think a resource / intrigue (carcasone, agricola, puerto rice, etc..)game based on the Runelords and Thassilon would be amazing.

A Golarion board game would be awesome.
Risk meets Settlers of Catan meets...?

Oh, I know that the good Paizo folks are already stretched to the limit with their current lines, but still!

This would be so rad! Plus, might it not also be a good 'gateway' into the RPG for some potential players? Or at least help cement brand-awareness, in the same way that the MMO will ...

Anyway- I'm all for Golarion across as many platforms as possible!

That's what licensing is for. :)
