How long does stat damage last

I have no idea how long damage to a stat lasts.

for example Corrupting Gaze found on page 145 of the bestiary

Corrupting Gaze (Su): The ghost is disfigured through age
or violence, and has a gaze attack with a range of 30 feet
that causes 2d10 damage and 1d4 Charisma damage
(Fortitude save negates Charisma damage but not
physical damage).

Ability damage heals at a rate of 1 point per day. Ability drain does not heal naturally.

Unless otherwise noted, damage to your ability scores is healed at the rate of 1 per day to each ability score that has been damaged.
