I run a game with maybe 6-12 teenagers showing up at each session. One of them, who prefers wizards, tried to think up a way to survive a zero-oxygen environment.
1-Fishbowl with water
2-Waterbreathing
While it was generally agreed that it SHOULDN'T happen, there was some debate over whether it COULD. I argued that since the spell description states that you "Breathe water freely", it would act like air. Therefore, the person would suffocate as if they had an airtight fishbowl on their head, not to mention the enormous strain on somebody to pull a vacuum to get the water into their lungs.
Even after that, some people were still unconvinced, saying that it's not technically against the rules.
Opinions? I MUST settle this.

There are a couple ways to get unlimited fresh water. You just need to decide if the water created by Create Water or a Decanter of Endless Water is oxygenated. I think I remember someone showing math that indicates a Decanter of Endless Water with a reasonable aperture and the given flow rate can produce enough thrust to be used for orbital lift so there's going to be at least one on every Golarion spaceship anyways.

What level are they at because if it's 10+ there's an airless ioun stone option and honestly if they aren't 10+ why are they going into space?
Anyways technically speaking I believe they're correct and there isn't anything that says when you breath water that it has to be oxygenated per the rules but it's a silly question because the rules aren't built for simulating space conditions as a result it's safe to say it's a houserules situation.
