I run a game with maybe 6-12 teenagers showing up at each session. One of them, who prefers wizards, tried to think up a way to survive a zero-oxygen environment.
1-Fishbowl with water
2-Waterbreathing
While it was generally agreed that it SHOULDN'T happen, there was some debate over whether it COULD. I argued that since the spell description states that you "Breathe water freely", it would act like air. Therefore, the person would suffocate as if they had an airtight fishbowl on their head, not to mention the enormous strain on somebody to pull a vacuum to get the water into their lungs.
Even after that, some people were still unconvinced, saying that it's not technically against the rules.
Opinions? I MUST settle this.
