If a barbarian with the lesser or greater spirit totem (Lesser Spirit Totem) took the Bludgeoner and Enforcer feats, could the Spirit Totem slam attacks deal nonlethal damage and deliver the Enforcer feat's shaken attacks?
My gut says no, but I don't know if rules exist for the way "effects" like the Spirit Totem slams work, which are not precisely PC attacks, nor are they actual NPCs. Do they get buffs (inspire courage, etc)? Can you use your feats with them?
The Lesser spirit totem does negative energy damage, not bludgeoning, so Bludgeoner wouldn't work. I'm not so sure about the Enforcer, all that is a really cool idea.
I suspect the answer is the same one of whether you can use power attack with those spirit slams.
Spirit totems and Power Attack is one of things for GM to decide.
My current reading is that by RAW it should not work because it does not count as barbarian's own attack (despite using his BAB and Charisma modifier) on the other hand I doubt that it would imbalance the effect much (it does not get bonuses to attack roll so the Power Attack penalty may make it very hard to hit with it balancing the increased damage).
The problem is, the spirits are making the attack, not you - so none of your feats apply. Only way to boost the attack is to boost your CHA modifier.
That is how I would rule as a GM - you mileage may vary.
Its never come up as no one in our group has taken this but i think you can go full defense and still get the spirit attack. Which suugests the pa doesnt work as others have said
