So, as the title suggests, I am looking for a generator that randomly produces mundane items. I like to keep my games low and make items and silver pieces more of a big deal. Regardless, I've been looking for a generator that can randomly produce a mundane item for when the players are looking through chests, searching rooms, or even looting a person. I don't like to always just dish out money and magic items.
If anyone knows of one that would be awesome. If not, is there anyone who a enough understanding of programing that they wouldn't mind taking a stab at it. I wouldn't mind helping catalog items and such I just don't know a thing about programing. My idea is to eventually add any non-magical item from weapons/armor/and gear from Core, Advanced Players, and Ultimate Combat.
...or if the Dev's out there would like to add that to the PRD website. Anyway, just a suggestion. Is there anyone else out there that would be interested in such a tool?

I know there was one available for free on the web back in the 3.x days. If you can find it, I believe it could be modified with new items. That way you could change it to fit pathfinder gear. I believe it was called a treasure generator. I will check the google.
Edit- Google quickly found me a treasure generator on ajs.com where he published the source code as open source. You could probably just modify that...
Edit 2 - But, you need to cap treasure by value... hm... that might make coding a bit more difficult... let me think
Edit 3 - donjon has one, but it doesn't cap value unless you include magic items....
Edit 4 - pathfinder.zonegamma.com seems to have something close to what you want. If you choose magic (low) then you will only generate a few magic items that you'll have to replace manually.

alright, not sure if anyone is still interested in this, but a friend I work with happens to be a programmer and we are starting to work on a random mundane item generator that will include all weapons, armor, and gear for core rulebook, advanced players guide, and ultimate combat.
It will have options for deselecting any book or armor or weapons or gear. I also have plans to have it capable of having a custom section so that you can add your own house ruled items. We should have a beta test available fairly soon.

I would be insanely interested in this. I eagerly await the beta test. I'll even help you beta test the crap out of it.

Generally not a big fan of "+1" comments, but I'm definitely one here. Heck, I'd be willing to pay a couple bucks for it if it was in app form.
Actually, the beta test is going to be free but will only include like the core rulebook, but I may end up selling it for like $0.99 or something like that. I want it too be cheap. I'll see if I can't get it here on the Paizo market and the app store and android market as well.
Edit - I also plan to keep up with it and update it as new books come out.

The generator here might be worth looking at for ideas. It's 3.5, intended more for generating trade goods and oddities than specifics, but you can turn the types on and off, including whether you want magic items there or not.

It might not have, but check out O.G.R.E
Not related to the SJGames Ogre.
But if you like it, do toss some money at their kickstarter.
