Feather fall

Rules Questions

Do you lose your dex when feather falling from a great height or do you retain your full AC?

You don't lose your dex bonus (to ac or otherwise) while falling. Watch sky divers, they still have full range of motion and a lot of control while falling.

No offense but I think that's a bad example. How about this more realistic one. You and I are at a pool. You jump into the pool from a diving board. While in the air I'm trying to hit you with a ball. Even though you have range of motion , you have nothing to apply your maneuver or movement against. The only think I would have to contend with would be your speed. How would get your full AC? With feather fall you fall at a slow speed. Now I could see your point of view you were gliding or flying.

There is nowhere in the RAW, either for falling or the Feather Fall Spell, that would suggest you lose your DEX to AC when falling.
