Advice

Hey all.

So I am currently playing PFS at my FLGS.

As I have more rules knowhow then most of the other players they tend to ask for advice when building their characters.

Ok, this one has me stumped...

This kid is playing a gunslinger (ok so far).... Gun Tank.

Up to now he has used Medium armor, and a heavy shield.

In combat he shoots his pistol, drops it then draws a melee weapon and fights.

How is a gun tank ment to work?

They provoke when shooting.

They provoke when reloading (not that he has tried to yet)

They Provoke when pulling a melee weapon.

Yes I know "Stay out of melee, for gods sake your a gunslinger, not a fighter"

But then whats the point of the gun tank?

Any help would, well..... help.

Thanks.

Drawing a weapon does't provoke. So you shoot, then close in and attack with melee.

Well that helps at least.

I could have sworn it provoked.....

Grand Lodge

Stand 5ft away, shoot, draw weapon, 5ft step, attack. The sword and pistol feat will bring this build into completion, and rid themselves of AoO.
