So a Dwarf character in a game, thru years of adventuring has fallen for his elven cleric companion. And oddly enough, she him as well.
So what would their kids be?

The only other campaign world I know of with half-dwarves is Kingdom of Kalamar and they are rare, usually the product of a diplomatic marriage. KOK also has the extremely rare elf-orc hybred, of which only a handful reach adulthood. I am unaware of any dwarf-elf hybreds.

Umm, in the scope of Golarion, I vaguely recall that only humans and elves bred true with each other. And of course orcs with humans. A developer confirmed in a forum thread that there weren't other racial mixings, but half-elves and half-orcs between the Core races.
Why is this in the Rules section though? There's nothing concrete about fantastic genetics in the rules, so the thread feels misplaced. Maybe Pathfinder General Discussion?
