WOW! Thank you Paizo for creating this. This drastically improved upon the speed of me bouncing from PDF to PDF on my tablet. Thank you! What a difference!
If that was but 1 of 3 wishes in my ring of wishes, my second wish would be to be able to operate the interactive maps on my tablet. That was a huge disappointment when they came out.
Again, thank you SOOO much!

We would love to grant you that wish... but it's completely outside of our control. Apple's rendering engine just plain lacks support for some PDF features, and Apple is the only one who can add it.

These are fantastic! Are all the backlog being done as "lite"?
For now this download option is only being offered on current Pathfinder hardcover products. This is mainly due to the fact that their release is less frequent and is something we can fit into our production schedule at the moment. The hardcovers are also the most commonly requested to be more usable on tablets, phones and lower end machines.

What exactly was changed between lite and full versions? I've been flipping through the .pdfs side by side and they seem identical barring that the normal one loads much slower.
What are the differences?
The Lite versions of the PDF have been exported with compressed and simplified page backgrounds that still resonate with the branding used in all Pathfinder products. They've also had minor tweaks to their export options that make them more friendly to use on lower end machines and on tablets or phones.
The non-Lite versions of the PDF best represent their printed counterparts. They use the fully built backgrounds used in the print versions which contain higher quality background artwork and rendering.
