I want to play as the Dark Stalker race. I know their HD is like 6, but their CR is also 4. There is something in the Beastiary talking about creatures with Racial Hit Dice as Players, but templates like Half-Fiends aren't really covered. Do not want any of spell-like abilities of either the Dark Stalker or the Half-Fiend. The only things I'd like to retain are Stat Adjustments, Natural Armor/Weapons, Flying, and Special Qualities (like See in Darkness, Death Throes, Posion Use). If I keep the Racial Hit Dice, I'll keep the Sneak Attack.
Where exactly does this leave me?
I'm not trying to be a powergamer, I'm more into a Dark Stalker Half-Fiend for the flavor. Any suggestions for backstory on how this exactly could ever happen would be helpful as well for roleplaying.
Additional Questions:
1. Can Dark Stalker's learn more languages? They only know Dark Folk and Undercommon according to the Beastiary. If they can't speak common, then I'll have to tell my party that they need to learn undercommon.
2. What class would be good to go with this combo (please don't say Rogue, as that choice is obvious).
3. My party will be Gestalting our characters, should I just say I forfeit my second class so that I can have this race/template and level as a normal Player Character.

Generally speaking the CR is the level adjustment. Any templates add to that, but it is not going to be a clean adjustment. The GM may have to compensate the other players and or adjust levels as the game go on to make things even. Some monster abilities lose punch as you level up, and some things should not be given to players at or before they are much higher in level.

I have updated my post a bit, I shortly realized after posting that Pathfinder no longer has Level Adjustments....
Before I talk to my DM I was wondering how big of a difference giving up all the Spell-Like Abilities would do. I also kind of want to trash the Racial Hit Die and Sneak Attack, because I'm not entirely sure if I want a rogue. I personally think that would shave a Dark Stalker down at least to +1, and a Half-Fiend back down to +1. I might just be totally changing the game with this though....
What do you guys thinks?

Racial HD are generally not as good as class levels, but a monster's special abilities might make up for it.
As to how powerful the SLA's are that depends on the SLA and your build.
SLA's normally run off of charisma. If you dump charisma you might end up falling behind. If you boost charisma it could be really good for you.
You may also start off head, and fall behind in a few levels. <---That is why I said the GM may have to adjust things.
What level are you starting at and at what level should the game end?

We are starting at level 10 and ending at 20. It's going to be a long run, that why I kind of wanted my guy to be interesting and have some good utility (Flying, See in Darkness, Extra Attacks).
Not sure if you can tell this but I'm new... I still got this crazy idea in my head that I can fly and shoot lazer beams out of my eyes without any drawbacks.

Found this on another person's who also was trying to play a Dark Stalker. I like this alot, but I'll probably replace -2 Int with -2 Cha because they more likely to be intelligent then likeable.
For the Half-Fiend part I'll just start one level behind so that I'll catch up eventually.

Level adjustments were removed in Pathfinder. You would have a few options.
1. Run them as-is, using the hit dice as racial levels.
2. Impose some penalty on them, further increasing their effective level
Option 1 lets you have the option of creating a scale of 6 racial levels, granting various abilities at different levels. Here is a very rough write-up....
Base Racial Mods:
Dex: +4, Int: -2
Racial Modifiers: +4 Climb, +4 Perception, +4 Stealth
Weaknesses: light blindness
Dark Stalker Racial Class
Level 1: Sneak Attack 1d6; Poison Use (Ex); Darkvision
Level 2: Detect Magic at-will(Sp)
Level 3: Sneak Attack 2d6
Level 4: Fog Cloud at-will(Sp),
Level 5: Sneak Attack 3d6,
Level 6: Death Throes (Su), See in Darkness (Su), Deeper Darkness at-will(Sp)

Let’s see.
Yes, dark stalkers can add more languages if their Intelligence score is +2 higher than normal dark stalkers, or your character gains ranks in Linguistics.
The half-fiend template would add CR +2 at 5-10 HD, CR +3 at 11+ HD. Since you don’t want spell-like abilities, your GM might reduce the CR mod from +3 to +2, but shouldn’t reduce the +2 modifier for 5-10 HD.
Dark Stalker, 6 HD, CR 4.
So. Half-fiend dark stalker: CR 6, + 4 class levels for character levels 7-10, but per the note on page 314 of the Bestiary, you’d also add another 1 class level between levels 9-10(for 5 total, or half-fiend dark stalker class 5) for starting at level 10.
Between levels 12-13, 15-16, and 18-19, you’d gain another class level, so would end up as a half-fiend dark stalker level 18 whatever at character level 20 (or 19 class levels if your GM doesn’t let you drop the SLAs and requires the +3 half-fiend CR modifier at 11 HD or more).
Do I have it right?
If so, that's a powerful character, especially as you're using the gestalt rules!!

Is this fair to say, I contacted with my DM over email before posting. His response was it seemed fair, but I don't want to find out I'm overpowered after are first fight and have to reroll. I think the spell-like abilities won't be used that much mainly because I'll blind my friends to, so that way its more for safety and/or solo strikes.

Yeah come under the same conclusion, if you look a couple posts up you will see new plan based off a post and Savage Species level progression.
I'm think of going the Inquisitor/Rogue route.
