If no one has yet mentioned "The Maiden" by World Works Games... well consider it mentioned.

If you have the time and patients to build one of these well it will make an awesome addition to this adventure path.
Luckily I already built one for Savage Tide years ago.

It's been a long, long, long time, but if I remember there was a complete paper model of a sailing ship included in an old copy of the Dragon....
Got it - #116. If you can find a copy or a pdf, that might work.
Also...

and if you want something to really drive you crazy...
And those from a quick yahoo search for "paper model pirate ship"
Lots more free ones out there.
Good luck.

Here: the Black Pearl, to 28mm scale.
It's in Japanese, but it's free, and it's not like you need the language to cut it out.
Probably a major project, however.

This is The Maiden from Worldworksgames - a paper model. It's not free, but it includes interior decks.

My GM is so excited to run S&S that he bought a large Playmobile ship. I don't know which one but saw the big box.
Two weeks to start. I can't wait...

I've picked up a few of these and plan on getting more. Mounted on an appropriately-sized base they'll work perfectly for the individual ship-to-ship fights, and will add a nice visual reference and way to track damage (fire tokens or somesuch placed on the model) for the fleet battles, even if you don't really need models for the latter.
Painting out the stark white edges of the plastic pieces with a color that matches the printing greatly improves the look of the model as well, although they are already very nice-looking little ships.
