Synthesist and Large / huge Evolution

In the Sinthesist archetype there is a sentence says "The eidolon must be at least the same size as the synthesist".
My question is: a Synthesist can take the Large or/and Huge evolution or the sentence limited also the evolution he can take?

In English usage, in this context, 'at least' means that the Eidolon cannot be smaller than the Synthesist, but can be larger. So Large and Huge are fine, but Small wouldn't be unless the Synthesist were Small, and Tiny would never bhe allowed.

He is right. Where at least means same size or larger. So a synth can not have an eidolon that is smaller than the pc because he has to fit into the eidolon when they merge.

my DM says that it has to be of my same size, it cannot be LARGER or Smaller, hes not native american so he understands from ''at least'' is that it has to be the same size and thats it

At least means "a minimum of". So it is ok for the eidolon to be larger but not to be smaller.

At least literally means: At the smallest.

pretty clear to native english speakers, but cleaner language might have been:
"The Eidolon must be no smaller than the synthesist."
