The general premise is that his people dwell in the caves at the foot of the mountain on the edge of the desert. They are a style of Barbarian that worship nature and hate magic of any sort. They've developed and passed on their own martial arts based on the fighting techniques of overly large bears that live in the mountains. The eldest warriors gain the ability to change into these enormous fearsome bears.

Anyways an abnormal sickness has taken his village and he's been sent to find a cure for this sickness. The kicker: it has to be nonmagical. His people will accept nothing magical.

Thoughts, Suggestions?

I'd skip Invulnerable Rager if you're having that few Barbarian levels. Improved Uncanny Dodge is better than DR 3 and Fire Resistance 2.

I'd also probably go Str 18 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 10 Wis 12 Cha 8

Your AC and Saves would thank you for it. I might even go Int 12 Cha 7 (or Con 15 and Cha 7). Charisma does nothing for you and never will, and having it low seems appropriate as well.

yes but in general every dm I've ever had despises just dumping stats and I'm not fond of it either. I'll talk it over with my dm

I might go with Str 18 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 10 Wis 12 Cha 8 as my will save is already quite good. You're probably right on the invulnerable rager as well that's not going to be as good as basically invulnerability to sneak attacks.

Any other suggestions?

It's not a optimal build (if doing the same concept, I'd probably go straight Barbarian with Beast Totem and Brawler Rage Powers)...but it should be fairly fun and effective, if you wanna go with it.

Not a lot else to say.

I think you did the setup forferal combat traing wrong. Tthere is no such thing as weapon focus (nat). without toothy or some barb rage power you have no suitable natural attack for weapon focus. And you do not appear to have any of these at lvl 1
