Does the aid allies ability from the Cavalier's Dragon Order grant a +3 bonus at 2nd-level or a +5 bonus? It's unclear as to whether the +3 scaling bonus is in place of the normal aid another bonuses, or in addition to them.

I'm going with just a +3 bonus. It doesn't say any thing about 'an additional +3', just 'a +3 bonus'.

They get a +3 to the check.
