Would these combine, given that this is an Su ability rather than a spell (with reference to the fact that *spells* which change your size do not affect you when polymorphed)?

It's as if it's enlarge person and that section gives the rules for all polymorph effects.

But it's not a spell.

You cannot read the enlarge ability text to mean "as if it's a spell", because then you'd have to make concentration checks to cast it.

You use the rules of enlarge person.

The intent is that this doesn't work. Druid's wildshape is a (Su), and it still follows the rules of polymorph effects. In fact, it wouldn't work at all otherwise.

Is there a size increasing effect in play and a polymorph effect? Great, they don't work together. That's the purpose of that line.
