Can a stave be used as a weapon?

I would like my Oracle to use a Stave of Healing as a melee weapon. Is this possible? If so, can it be further enchanted with other modifiers?

A Staff of Power is also a +2 quarterstaff, which seems to pretty clearly indicate that a magical staff can also be made in such a way as to be usable as a weapon. I'm not up to reverse-calculating the price right now, but it would probably be reasonable just to treat the staff properties and the weapon properties as separate enchantments each priced individually.

Remember that a staff is a double weapon, and each end must be enchanted individually.
