Saurian Shaman: Wild shape question

Advice

I am trying to pick a medium magical beast that is reptilian or dinosaurish.
So far all I could find is Basilisk. Anyone else that can help me?

Bestiary I also has the following:
Frog, Giant
Lizard, Monitor
Snake, Constrictor
Snake, Venomous

Bestiary II offers nothing in this direction and I don't know Bestiary III.

Also, this should have been posted under "Advice" rather than "General".

Why a magical beast for wild shape?

Wild shape only works for animals.

For a mediun dino, I reccomend the Deinonychus.
Raptor form is FUN!

Yeah, what Cornielius said. Wild shape is only for animals/elementals/plants. Yes it mimics the Beast Shape spells, but if you reread wild shape you'll find no mention of magical beast, it specifies animal.

Reptiles does not include frogs, but it does include all the Lizards, snakes, turtles and crocodiles.

Ya I didnt read it all the way. Thanks. Well I am a Saurian Shaman, which limits me to dinos and reptiles. And the race we are playing is Gripli. So frogs are out of the question.

Why would frogs be out of the question? If anything it would seem MORE appropriate.

Deinonychus for the win: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/animals/dinosaur/deinonyc hus

That's by far your best medium reptilian animal. That thing is beastly.
