Rage Spell + Barbarian

Rage states "the effect is otherwise identical with a barbarian's rage". Does that mean if you have rage powers you can use them while in the rage?

I believe that for the duration a barbarian could use his rage without consuming his rounds per day.

Yes, that is correct. Just don't forget that all other limitations of rage apply as well, i.e. no casting or such :-)
