Question about auras

Rules Questions

We had a question come up in our homegame last night.

How does an Aura ability with a range (say 30ft.) work in regards to walls? I could not find any rules on exactly how Aura's function.

Does it require line of effect with the originator?
Does it get blocked by walls but can turn a corner like a spread based spell?
Does it ignore all obstacles (aka - go through walls)?

Thanks!

I'd rule line of effect is needed. Almost nothing else goes through solid objects, so there is no good reason for an aura's effect to do so. Unless the aura is a gassy disease or poison, an aura should be measured as a burst, not a spread.
