Just looked briefly through the .pdf that I got last night (eagerly anticipating the hard copy in the next couple of days).
I love the idea behind Kelpie's Wrath- I'd actually had the idea to create some kind of animated ship myself after reading the ship combat rules in the Player's Guide (mine is going to be a sea version of the old D&D Juggernaut).
I was kind of curious that Kelpie's Wrath wasn't given skill ranks in Profession (sailor) or similar skills that would allow it to make better use of some of the ship maneuvers in the Player's Guide.
I'm guessing the thought is the standard method of fighting it would be just by usual combat, but it seems to me that if fighting ship-to-ship it would make sense to use Kelpie's Wrath in the same way as the PC's ship.
Anyone else used it this way or have thoughts on the matter?
