GMing Chronicle Sheets

If I GM an adventure that i plan on playing at some point, can i apply the GM chronicle to that character or do i need to apply it to a different character?

I've been looking for this answer for a while, I see it here on the Forum and have recently heard it from others... But where can I find it written?

On page 7 of the season 8 Guide, the section on replaying an adventure in order to meet the minimum legal table size contains the following note:

This is the only exception to not having two copies of the same Chronicle sheet assigned to one character.

(Previous Guides may have had more obvious statements, but this is the best I can find in the current one.)

I was also imagining you GMing quite literally for your chronicle sheets, with each sheet clustered around the map with its very own dice set, eagerly awaiting its chance for adventure.

I had a lot of trouble finding this one in the Guide too.

The principle is simple of course. No character can on the same adventure twice.

Ya nothing out right states you can't have a GMed Chronicle and a player chronicle.

Just wondering if there was anything more clear stating it.

It's probably something that accidentally fell out of the S8 guide as they were trying to move chapters around for clarity. Like just about anything.

But the principle has been in place since forever.
