Seems like it still hasn't been fully answered.
Jason said that DR does "not" negate Sneak Attack and yet he says that it's added to the total damage. He has made a contradiction in one sentence.

No, he didn't.
Example time: A level 1 Rogue with str 10 and a dagger stabs a creature with DR 5. He does 1d4+1d6 damage. If he rolls five or less on the dice he does no damage. He rolls a total of 6 on the dice he does 1 damage. He rolls a total of 10 on the dice he does 5 damage. There is no distinction between the Sneak Attack damage and the regular damage, it's all just damage, and part of the same damage roll. That's what he means.

Read again. Jason said "DR does not negate sneak attack damage. The sneak attack damage is not a special effect that accompanies the attack, it is part of the damage roll." Cheapy's link is to a better thread than the one I linked to, see the last post in it.
The SA damage is just as much a part of the damage as the weapon die damage or the strength bonus. I don't see how that's not clear.

If you read what Jason said it sounds like he is contradicting himself. On one hand he says that DR cannot negate Sneak Attack damage so it sounds like he is saying that your Sneak Attack damage cannot be touched but then he says that Sneak Attack is not a special effect.
He really could have worded that a hell of a lot better than he did.
