Races that I think should be opened up freely to the general public.
Aasimaar
Tiefling
Suli
Fetchling
Ifrit
Undine
Sylph
Oread
ChangelingThese are all already established to exist Golarion, and anybody could end up producing one.
I would actually limit list to the following:
Aasimar
Tiefling
with the following being "unlockable" from scenario play:
Tengu
Naagai

Is it acceptable to trade or gift boons to other players if we are lucky enough to receive one but do not want it?
Yes

I hope everyone realizes they can get themselves a current boon in less than a month without leaving your own city. It may require a few hours of coordinating, but it's there:
1. Call 2-3 gaming buddies and invite them over fro drinks.
2. Call your FLGS and ask for 3-4 tables of space over a Sat-Sun one month hence. Sweet talk them for some free word of mouth advertising.
3. Set up a Warhorn group for your mini-Con
4. Create flyers with the Warhorn link in Microsoft Word and print them
5. Email Mike and explain your devious plan to acquire racial boons, surprisingly enough, he will probably be excited about your devious plan and support you.
6. During the 1 month interim get with your buddies and ply them with alcoholic beverages. When they wake up hungover the next day, plop down the scenario list and say "Thanks for offering to judge at my mini-Con, what 5 low-level scenarios should we do?"
7. Also during the 1 month interim, post flyers at libraries, local gaming/hobby stores and advertise online.
8. Print low-level pregens and chronicle sheets and nervously wring your hands, hoping to have enough people to fill each table.
9. Drink copious amounts of liquor during the con
10. Profit
There you go. Enjoy my surefire devious plan to get everyone their own racial boon. But don't tell anyone!

If thats the case then I'm looking for a racial boon to trade for....
A PAIZOCON 2012 Ticket and Banquet Ticket for a race boon: Aasimar.
Do I have any takers?

Stuff while drinking
I have been saying the same thing through the entire thread...
Though I would suggest that of you do submit a plan to Mike you omit the drinking part... ;)

ummm... I don't think that is what is meant...
That is pushing someone getting monetary value from it and a few of us look down on that.
I am more talking about trading Boons for Boons, or giving them away for nothing because you have 2 of them.

Ahhh...
I can't give my Tiefling boon for trade its a GM boon...
I never heard of seeting up a weekend and 3-4 tables (12-15 total) before. I might do this instead.

I'd be surprised if Mike was willing to send race boons to a grassroots convention - possibly some other type of boon, but I think he wants to limit race boons to larger, well established events.
Also there is the concern that boons be given out in a controlled manner (ie 10%) and only for the supported event. Which is why your best bet is to work with a Venture-Captain for support of your event. And, no, they wouldn't need to be there in person; they'd just need to be willing to recommend your event.

Don, this isn't necessarily the case. Smaller cons CAN get racial boons. Once you meet that 15 table mark, you get the prize support, whatever that may be. Don't disappoint the masses with information that may not be correct :P
I do agree, it is best to keep your local VO in the loop (and they can assist in getting more swag, too).

I don't speak for Mike, If he trusts there person, he most likely will be more willing to give the Racial boons to the Event organizer.
I am still trying to get Mike to say that he would be willing to give out Boon support for Events smaller then conventions.

If you ask, I am under the impression you will get it. If you assume because you're a small con or whatever, and don't ask, you won't.

We have a standardized list of event tiers and the associated prize/boon support that we'll be making public as soon as possible. We support all events of the same size in the same manner, so once organizers have a chance to look over the tier breakdowns, they'll be able to aim for events of a size that provides specific boons they may want.
