Advice on my cleric

Advice

I am in a campaign where my gm likes to Make his games extremely hard. I am still a new player to pathfinder so I am trying to optimize my character. I want him to be a good fighter but can buff my party abit. I also want to make sure I don't die. Im not sure which spells o focus on items to purshase and feats to pursue. Here is my character currently:
Cleric lv 4 true neutral deity : race: human
Stats: str 20 Hp 35
Dex 14
Con 16
Int 17
Wis 17
Cha 15
Gear: great sword
Breast plate.
Feats: Iron will
Toughness
Power attack.
Domains destruction
War

Channel positive energy.

Would your DM let you change things retroactively?

Liberty's Edge

Good stats and Feats, though you might (emphasis on might) want to switch Int and Cha, depending on whether skills or channel energy is more important to you. Make sure to channel Positive Energy. Maybe switch out Iron Will (you've already got a good Will Save) for Heavy Armor Proficiency.

Also lethal in what way? High CR monsters? Lots of traps and special tactics? What does the rest of the party look like?

Currently my party is made up of an alchemist who is good at throwing bombs and morphing into various creature using mutagens and a halfling summoner who has a ranges weapon but had bad aim. His main summon is a tough close combat creature. I would like I be able to take on the bulk of creature and soak up some damage then heal my party afterwards. My alchemist disarms traps. I may look into getting some heavy armour. I currently have 2740 gold.
