Are words of power a good choice for a fey bloodline sorcerer?
I'm not sure how they work. What about metamagic feats? Can a wordcaster use them? What about eschew materials?

My advice: Don't.
Words or Power suck. Terribly. Sure there are a few very specific things you can do with them that you can't normally do, but otherwise they have the same restrictions as spells, just with less options to choose from. (yes at first glance it seems like alot more, but its not)

From a sheer power perspective, don't pick them. However, if you want to run a crazy wacky wizard with a different system, then do so. Remember, it's all about having fun.

I will tell you, I've experimented with the system a little, and talked to others that have used it. Generally, it takes A LOT of work, and you can get frustrated because you limit yourself by your own choice. I don't remember the text exactly, but I don't think Word casters can learn words from a normal wizards spell book. So unless all the wizards and scrolls you fight/find are word spells, then you don't get to put them in your book.

I wouldn't recommend Words of Power for a fey bloodline sorceror and probably most casters, but Words of Power can work to your advantage for some builds. I ran a cross-blooded red dragon marid sorceror that was the primary damage dealer for a group, so maximizing the type of damage and area of effect was important. I think a magus is another opportunity if you are damage focused. A magus with words of power doesn't have to worry about not having melee touch attack spells, wasting an arcana, or using arcane mark (the Zorro build).

Yeah, that's what I figured.
