I don't know if this is the correct spot, but I don't know where the best place would be, so...

Bold mine.

My router is really spotty recently (thus I'm lacking a consistent connection) and I have a few questions about some order from my local book store, and I've tried calling, but it informs me that the number or code I've dialed is incorrect. I use a cell, and am in the USA, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Did you guys change the phone number? Is it just wrong? Is it only on my end somehow? What's up?

Hm, that is rather strange. I just tried calling the number from my personal cell phone (which has a totally different area code) and got through (and heard in ring over in customer service). We did have minor tweaks to our phone service last week, but I believe it was all tested and sorted out. I know it's a silly question, but are you adding a 1 in front of the number?

Also, please note that we don't start accepting calls until 10 AM Pacific time :)

In the past, even with landlines I've sometimes experienced this. I remember one time getting it when calling across the street. Is it consistent?

Not adding any ones! (Also it's not a silly question. Human error is a big factor in these sorts of things.)

And so far, yes, it's consistent. Good to know I'm not alone, though!

It rings one-to-three times then: "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect. Please check the number or code, and try again." which is then repeated in Spanish, then, "Message seven, switch two, three, -" then the English and Spanish messages are repeated, but the second time when it cuts off after the "three" it simply hangs up. Three times so far.

THAT said, I am calling a bit early, I guess (I'm on eastern time). I'll try again later at, what, twelve? One PM? I'll see what happens then.

You are supposed to add a 1 though. Not to be a smartass- the number should be

1-425-250-0800

Just in case that may be the issue :)

Yep—in the US, if you're calling long distance, you generally need to add a 1 before the area code for *any* number you dial. (The "1" switches the call from your local carrier to your long-distance carrier, which may or may not be the same company.)

Note this is not needed for cell phones though, since each line is only supported by one carrier.

I think it's also not needed in areas where you always need to dial the area code. But I could be wrong.

Hi,

As above, not an ideal place to ask, but;

Neverwinter Nights is getting redone by Beamdog as an 'enhanced edition'.

What I would like to do is recreate the Cheliax based adventure modules and create a 'Cheliax' campaign for Neverwinter Nights. That is Council of Thieves, Hell's Rebels and Hell's Vengeance, etc.

Given that Pathfinder is 3.5 based, conversion is fairly easy. However because it's Paizo and not WOTC, I am unsure if I am stepping on any intellectual property concerns.

Thanks if you are able to answer.

Creating a new thread for this would have been much better than appending to a 6-year-old thread about our phone number, but...

Our Community Use Policy provides for ways that noncommercial users can use our intellectual property. It may let you use our setting*, but it does not let you adapt our existing stories. That's something we are reserving for commercial licensing (like the upcoming Kingmaker adaptation from Owlcat Games).

*I say "may" because I have no idea if anything in the Neverwinter Nights community content policies might prevent this.
