Has anyone come up with any gaming stats for Caromarc for their games? Other than the story not really requiring it, I was more curiouson everyone's take on Carmarc. Did you go with pure item creation feats or the master craftsman route.
Rule of Fear has his stats I think but they are largely not relevant for TotB
No stats in the Rule of Fear but lots of good RPG fluff. And I agree that it is not needed for the path itself, I was just cruious on how folks would have built him.
You know, trying to get into the mind of the character :)
<Books and movies of frankenstein I been research nonwithstanding>
My players can't get over how difficult and absurd his castle his, especially building it. They keep making comments about how expensive, dangerous and not practical it is to build your estate across a river and on the side of steep cliffs and rocks.
I made him a Clone Master Alchemist - I have the stats somewhere if someone wants them. I can post them here.
Sure, I'd love to see your stats, Darkstrom. I agree ThreeEyedSloth, about the craziness of the castle, although it seems like he expanded once he lost power, and it is the expansions that really are architecturally crazy.

I enjoy the richness of life as a result of people's impracticalness.
As the GM, I try to convey it as awe-inspiring and surreal as I can. But one player just pokes fun at it, which causes the rest of the table to do the same.

With due respect, your players are dumb.
Montfort Castle
Bled Castle
Casas Colgadas
Dunluce Castle
Liechestein Castle
San Marino
Almourol Castle, in a Island in the river Tajo
And those were built without Move Earth and Stone wall spells.
Just because your player mind is too small to imagine something, it does not mean somebody else (such as a real world Castle Architect) is also restricted by same liability.

No gaming stats, but his level is listed.
Alpon Caromac is listed as N male human alchemist 13 in Rule of Fear.
Alpon Caromac is listed as N male Varisian alchemist 13 in Inner Sea Magic.
It's not much but it hadn't been mentioned in thread already.

The module itself [p 60] also describes him as N male human alchemist 13, but no stats are given.
