If I take Rapid Shot, it says I can make an extra attack with a Crossbow, taking a -2 penalty to each shot, if I use a full-attack.

However, the rules say that normally, I need to use a Move Action to reload my Crossbow. So do I need to take Rapid Reload as well, in order to actually be able to make two attacks on a round?

Simply put: Yes.

A light crossbow would require Rapid Reload to utilize Rapid Shot, while a heavy crossbow would require Crossbow Mastery.
