for the first time ever im going to make a character to be used in conjunction with another players character. we are going to play a ninja and samurai duet from the same clan. here is what i have so far.
both will be taking atleast 1 level of oracle, the ninja will have defness, and the samurai will have toungs. we will both take the waves revilation, using mist spells is our backbone for this strategy.
the ninja (me)
1-oricle
2-ninja
3-nija
4-oricle
5-oricle
6-oricle
7-12 ninja <--- after this point ... i have no clue what im going to be doing. i doubt that the game will last this long.
ninja tricks are
2: flurry of stars
4: combat feat
6: invisibility
8: mirrior immage
feats:
1 point blank
3 twf
5 rapid shot
7 quick draw
8 (rouge talent) improved twf
9 no feat yet <--- im thinking a team work feat
11 no feat yet <--- im thinking a team work feat
at 12th level my character will toss... 7 stars with a massive -6 to the primary and more as it goes deeper into the full attack action. but i figure in application i would be able to net a +9 bab+9 dex+flat footed -6. each star hits for 4d6. that would be respectable damage for a non optimized character.
i can choose to go instead with a more traditional ranged character, with a short bow and hit for 4 attacks @ 8d6+ str+ feats. but that seems boring.
so if anyone has any comments, feats, magic items or questions please i would appreciate the help. honestly ive played one rogue in dnd so im not to familiar with good feats for them.

I would have a hard time with this. Samurai and ninja were pretty much diametrically opposed. The samurai absolutely hated the ninja. I think about the closest you could get would be a ninja who infiltrated a samurai clan. But if you GM is ok with it, give it a go.
Having said that, the one time I saw someone try the 'star blizard' PC approach. It wasn't that great. If he got alot of hits the damage was phenominal. However he usually only got 1 or 2 hits. Once you get high enough level to have lots of stars, the AC's were high enough that the to hit penalties killed his chances. If you get lots of buffs to you hit chance, maybe from others in party, it might work better. But those buffs would also help a conventional build.
Rogues in PF have a hard time keeping up. A multiclass rogue will find it even tougher. I usually see it the other way. A fighter will take couple level dip into rogue for some goodies then go back to fighter.

Deafness is probably the absolute worst you can choose.
If you want to roleplay it correctly your char can not understand anyone that he can not read lips (which is a hard thing to do usually).
Add to this that, mechanics wise, Deafness is the worst of all the curses and it is easy to see why the general advice is to take something else (blind is thematically dsimilar and much much better in every respect).
Also, what KdM said, if you want to roleplay that at least somewhat historically correct you must make the Samurai either a clanless outcast desperate Ronin or the Ninja must keep his identity secret and pose as a merchant or such. There is no Ninja/Samurai clan as non clan would deal with Ninja (even the word Ninja means non-people). In the latter case the Samurai had all the right to boss the "merchant" around as he wishes because he is 3 steps ahead on the celestial order ladder.
Soo, as I see it you plan to not only dip orcacle but make a true Ninja/Oracle multi. My advice would be:
Don't do it!
Ninja and Oracle (esp. elemental Oracles) have weak synergy. Your spells will suck, your abilities will suck and your damage will suck.
Better go either straight Ninja with only 1 level Oracle or go straight Oracle with no Ninja (aka a Shugenja, this would also solve the Samurai <-> Ninja problem).
