I haven't touched the books in months. (Years?) I use the PRD for the one PF game I play in, and I run 3.5. For anything else, I have PDFs that do not take up physical space. And quite honestly, the shine of PF has worn off, and I don't see any reason for it to replace 3.5 in my library. As a matter of fact, it and other works have convinced me I just need to tweak 3.5 to what I want it to be. I'm happy to have supported Paizo in their endeavors thus far, and will continue to shop for gaming aids and the occasional PDF, but the print versions no longer interest me.

Can someone explain why in the hell a book about an imaginary country is listed for that much?
When people are selling through and internet seller (such as Amazon), and not neccessarily priced via that seller, you can see something like the following.
Basically you'll have two people trying to sell the same book. One seller is hoping to be able to sell things for more based on having a good, reliable reputation. Another is hoping to be the cheapest. The first seller will use a program that will check the price of another seller and price his at 15% higher automatically every so often. The second will use a similar program to price his 10% lower than the other every so often. So a book will start at, say $10, for example.
Seller A increases the price by 15% to $11.50.
Seller B prices his 10% under seller A, bringing the lowest price to $10.35.
Seller A increases his price to 15% higher than the next highest, bringing the price to roughly $11.90.
Seller B prices his at 10% under seller A's. $10.70ish.
Seller A 15% above Seller B. $12.30ish.
And so on and so forth. It can get a bit more complicated than that, but that is the basics of it.
