Inquisitor: Healing Judgement

Advice

Thought I would ask some of you math nuts out there. Is the Healing judgement worth it at all?

Or with being a defensive inquisitor does the AC Judgement trump?

It is better to not get hit, but if your AC is so low that you will probably get hit anyway then I would go with the healing.

The healing Judgement is great when you have Second Judgement or Third Judgment. I'd never start with Healing but it's only swift action to change to Healing when needed and if you get hit for bleed it's an easy way to stop the bleed.

Good point! Thanks for the tips.

Liberty's Edge

Judgments only last until the end of the combat in which you're currently engaged, so I generally think that it's not really worth it. I'd take a +1 to hit over fast healing 1 at pretty much any point, especially when the fast healing is only likely to last less than 10 rounds.

I know you said defensive, though - so I'd definitely roll AC boost first and foremost, as that benefit scales with the number of times you're attacked per round.

Shadow Lodge

If you know it's going to be a long combat and you are already injured might be nice. Also, if you take Instant Judgment you can switch to healing as an immediate action, so if something hits you and you go negative you will auto-stabilize and start healing.

if you get hit only rarely and have a good escape strategy the healing judgement will usually keep you tip top, if you're more of a bruiser it might seem lack luster
